BT Broadband wireless

Hi all

I've got BT broadband. It's working via ethernet on my windows desktop, and on my suse 10.0 laptop

My wireless works on my laptop at my University, but I can't get it to work with my BT broadband at home.

KWiFi manager says I'm connected to my BT wireless Hub, but local IP is "unavailable", no IP address is connected in konsole, and obviously firefox doesnt load anything.

Anyone any suggestions? I havent got wireless on my desktop, but so I guess it could be that the modem isnt working, but since its working with ethernet.

(I'm pretty new to linux, so sorry if this is an obvious answer. but please give it to me anyway!)

Cheers
