FC6 wireless problem

Hello,

I have a problem. I am installing a FC6 on my friends computer. Now I dont know how to set up a wireless internet. Will FC6 install wireless card by default, or will I have to install it later.

If so what software will I need?

Thanks in advance,

Jan Birsa

Which wireless card has your friend? Normally FC6 should detect the card during the installation, if not you have to install ndiswrapper or madwifi, depending on the card

You don't necessarily need NDISWRAPPER, depending on the card model.

If you do need it, than FreshRPMs and Livna both have packages for it (for example, here on FreshRPMs). So you can configure YUM to use either one.
