    DSL(Damm Small Linux) Will not find USB Wireless G and won't conect to internet


    Hi im new to using linux and I have a problem. I can not conect to the internet. The version of linux im using is DSL(Damm Small Linux). I think my problem is that DSL is not finding my Ativa Wireless G usb wireless. How do I get it to work?

    First of all, check lsusb (Please post the output) to see if it exists. Then you'll need to find and install a driver. I found this on google, I can't see it at school but it might help you.

    I also found a Xubuntu forum post suggesting use of ndiswrapper. I use ndiswrapper and it works for my Belkin card flawlessly.

    would this "ndiswrapper" work on my "Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter" on my desktop? It's just a wireless receiver that receives the signal from my router in the other room...
