Hello and Welcome!
Take a look through this link.
Get all the info that is requested, and post back with it.
To get more visibility on it, I would suggest posting in the Wireless Section of the Forum.
Thread "moved" to wireless forum...
You say you are looking for a wireless dongle for a netbook. Most netbooks, if not all, already have wireless cards in them.
Does yours have an internal wireless card? Have you tried using it?
Hi Miller88
Thanks for your reply, you are right my netbook is wireless, I am ok at home using it, but I was after a PAYG broadband dongle for while I was on the move. But have been told none of them support the linux system which my netbook is running on and therefore will not sell me one. There must be a one out there somewhere or some solution any help would be greatly appreciated.
There is a user on the Ubuntu Forums that has had good luck with a Netgear adapter: see here.
And while the box or vendor may claim no Linux support, you may be able to get them going using ndiswrapper.
