I have an mn-510 wireless adapter. I'm booting fedora from a disc to try it out, but my adapter doesn't work. Since I'm booting from a disc does that mean I can't fix it? Also I looked at ndiswrapper and I didn't see it on their list.

Yes, booting from a live CD will lessen the chance of your wireless being supported. Usually only wireless cards that are completely open-source will work.
I have heard that Ubuntu has better wireless support in the live setup. You don't need a separate live CD, as the installation disk should work as a live CD.
