MacBook chipset?

Here's the situation, which not all will approve of:

I want to find out my school's WPA, but since a bunch of people knew about it last year because the one kid our tech guy told gave it out, it's been changed, and he won't tell ANYONE. The easiest way I've come up with to get it is to use aircrack-ng, a Linux-preferrable software. The school uses MacBooks, and I got Backtrack 2 up and running, and fixed the problem that makes you type letters twice after pressing the key once. (I could only type in "rroooott" at the login) That's one step WAY in the right direction. Now all I have left is to get the correct wireless drivers and aircrack. I already have aircrack, and will learn how to use it once I have everything else in place. All I need to know is:

What manufacturer makes the MacBook's wireless hardware, what type of hardware the MacBook uses for wireless(PCI, etc.), and (if possible) what model the MacBook uses. I understand that some MacBooks have an Atheros chipset. But what about the other MacBooks? Or are they all the same?
