Network there but no internet

Hi, I have a D-Link DWL-G510 wireless card. I got it working with Ndiswrapper. In the upper right corner in the tray there shows 2 connected computers. (I'm currently connected to the internet via Ethernet cable). When I click on that icon a list of available wireless networks appear. I click on my home network, type in the router password and then nothing. It reverts back to a cable connection. Can anyone give me a hint? I mean it's obviously seeing the network, I just can't connect to it.

ok, I scrounged around in my room and found a LinkSys wireless PCI card. I just plugged it in and now my wireless internet works.
