Wireless still not working... not drivers...
I do understand that it is common etiquette to not only post a few times, but to search as well(which I DID do..:dazed:), but I have not found anything in my several days of hunting to solve this problem. I am highly interested in the Linux world, but also uneducated(but trying!).
I am running Linux mint 9.0(Isadora), with a Linksys WMP54GS PCI NIC. The card will not pick up my home network, that has always worked fine with both Vista and XP. I do NOT have a wired NIC to access the internet to get the Broadcom drivers Mint suggests, so I used ndiswrapper, or actually, ndisgtk, to install the Windows driver. When I run the -l command through ndiswrapper, my driver is installed, and the hardware is present. My MAC address is also correct. I have run out of answers, cannot find anything anywhere else. I did not want to commit such a no-no by posting right off the bat like this, but my patience is running thin. There must be something I am missing. My adapter is compatible according to the ndiswrapper wiki.
I am unable to post any output from the terminal, as I have NO internet when under Isadora.
