Installing BasKet Note Pads

Hey

this morning I decided to install BasKet Note Pads, as a friend of mine had used Microsoft's OneNote and raved to me about it, and BasKet seems like a decent substitute. I downloaded and extracted the .tar.gz file, in used the install file, but during installation I recieved an error - it turns out I didn't have C language compiler installed (am on a 4G eeepc, running default xandros in advanced mode). So I installed gcc via synaptic (v 4.1 i think) and re ran the installer. This is what it returned:

so i can't create executables... How can I fix this?
