Installing Pixma MP210 printer driver on eee Xandros

Hi,

I have an Asus eee pc 701 running Xandros and I want to print using my Canon Pixma MP210.

I downloaded the the Pixma MP210 printer driver from the Canon website.

I can't seem to post URLs so it is the Canon Australia website / download drivers/ search for MP210.

I chose the deb file since I assumed it would work on Xandros.

I don't know Linux commands, so I right clicked on the file name within File Manager and selected "Install Deb file"

It then returned the error message "Cannot install package
cnijfilter-mp210series_2.80-1_i386.deb. Please, check the installation and
try again."

Does this mean that this package is not compatible with the eee xandros OS?

Is there anything else I can do to install this printer driver?

Thanks,
BTG
