Yoper install trouble

Hello,

I have downloaded the ISO image, and manage to extract it
onto a disk. I then go to try and boot the computer I want to install
on, and get the splash screen with the message boot:
I then hit the enter button, and it appears to start loading, but I then get a
message that says: " You passed an undefined mode number."
I have 2 choices then...wait, or push the enter button. Upon hitting
the enter button I get another screen that talks about the video adaptor,
and has 7 choices: 80 x 25 80 x 50 80 x 43 80 x 28 80 x 30
80 x 34 80 x 60......or lastly to type the word scan.....none of these
take me any further.......can anyone help ?? Thank you.

First things first

Check the md5 sum of the downloaded iso - make sure you\re installing from a valid medium, You can do so from the installer, once it's started, but that's your problem, if I got you right.

Probably booting into "yoper novesa" (Better look up the right parameter!) could bring you a bit further.

more info

Hello,

It is not NOVESA, when I try that, the computer almost immediately re-boots. I believe the medium to be fine, and do not know how to do md5 check.
