I've always had good luck with libdvdcss from this site.

Update: Current situation:
Installed version of libdvdcss 1_24 (from the rpm you indicated before)
Kaffeine detects that I have a DVD in my drive, and even shows me the title of the DVD. But all it shows for video is a blue rectangle, and no audio.

Hmm, it seems to have deleted the file ut was complaining about...hmmm.

Have you tried the .rpm LondoJowo sugested?
