Uhh.. techieMo, I think you confused one post with another!! I'm talking about Yoper, not SuSe!!

And by "Sax2 doesn't run", I mean that on bootup, Yoper tries to load the GUI but doesn't load Sax2 before that so I can configure the GUI. And the GUI won't work because of the wrong operating frequency.

And, very annoyingly, I've been facing the same problems with MEPIS and yes, SuSe! But in SuSe, Sax2 does run. I just misconfigured it!

So, any suggestions for Yoper?

you still haven't given me enough information to help you with SuSE. What do you mean by "SaX2 doesn't run"? Is the command not found? Does it start and error out? What?
On bootup, Yoper loads the GUI. Not Sax2. Virtual consoles don't seem to work properly with Yoper. I can't ever get the Login: prompt.

OH! Well that explains my confusion. I wasn't aware Yoper used SaX2... In that case I'll leave you alone, since I haven't touched Yoper in many moons. I thought you were having trouble with Yoper in SuSE (I suppose the forum this is in should have clued me in)... Good luck with that.
