Issues installing Gaim
i somehow got past my problem installing Gaim as far as libao goes. But now it says i need this gtk-spell ****. So I downloaded it, did ./configure, make, make install, but it still says i need gtk-spell. i dont need a #%&$ spell checker i just need to get on AIM so i can work out all of my linux problems.

What's your distro?
Most distros have binaries for Gaim.

Can't you just apt-get it(as root)?

I fixed it. I wish I would have known about that aim console client when it wasnt working.
