Illegal instruction

I'm trying to install blacksand on a textbox. When i boot up, it displays:

Setting paths...Illegal instruction
Illegal instruction
Illegal instruction
Illegal instruction
Illegal instruction
...

After the Illegal instruction errors it goes into a kernel panic. Anybody have solutions?

Sounds to me like your processor gets instructions it can't run... Like an i586 having to execute code with i686 instructions in it...

What kind of CPU and distribution are you using?
