Harddisk recognition problem

I'm a complete noob at linux but I'm eager to use it

i have 2 hard disks , they were both formated in ntfs before I installed yoper
I installed youper on one of them and left the other one still in ntfs , when I wanted to use the other one too , I formated it using a live CD ( Knoppix ) but I don't know how to make the harddisk available in yoper
