Ok, I realize that this is probably an easily solved problem, but I can't get my linksys wireless adapter to work with yoper. I figured I needed to get ndiswrapper. So I tried to install it, but failed miserably. Every time I tried, it would give me an error. These are the instructions I followed:

I'm using the latest stable version of Yoper. Is it at all possible to get my adapter to work without ndiswrapper? Either way, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

This is what happens after using the command "make" , which is how far I got on the install =(

I'm not sure if NDISwrapper supports that card or not. I think you might need this driver instead.

I think here, this error is because you need the kernel headers and kernel devel packages installed.

Sorry for the late reply , but for anyone searching later it might still be of use:


To compile kernel related programs you need to run

'smart update && smart install kernel-meta-devel kernel-source-$(uname -r)'

This will install all required packages , regards
