Hello,

I'm new to Yoper. After installing Yoper successfully, I tested the firewall here: GRC*|*Gibson Research Corporation Home Page**

This is a print out of the test:

Other than what is listed above, all ports are CLOSED.

TruStealth: FAILED - NOT all tested ports were STEALTH,
- NO unsolicited packets were received,
- A PING REPLY (ICMP Echo) WAS RECEIVED.

All ports were closed, but most were not STEALTHY. I would like to make all the ports STEALTHY. When I test my Slackware system, all ports are STEALTHY.

Here is my iptables rules:

root@Yoper /home/ron # /usr/sbin/iptables -L

Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)

Were is the script that loads and saves the iptables rules, and were are they saved? Is there a simple firewall for personal desktop use available for yoper by apt-get?

I have no idea if there is something ready for Yopper but have a look the the linux from scratch firewall setup Setting Up a Network Firewall.
